For a while now, I have been battling a bone infection in my left foot. It has required hefty amounts of oral and IV antibiotics, debridement every week and a lot of necessary medical treatment to be able to get to where I am now.
The good news is that I am healing. There is still a long road ahead though.
The next step is daily treatment in a hyperbaric oxygen chamber, where 100% pure oxygen is pumped in to help with the healing process. This treatment is pending insurance approval.
I plan to continue receiving treatment and continue healing.
Failure is not an option.
